A group of apprentices and their instructors at the BMW plant in Munich, Germany have designed a MINI Cooper pick up “truck,” dubbed the MINI Paceman Adventure.
Using a MINI Cooper Paceman S as a base, the group in Munich have developed a vehicle unlike any other in the brand’s lineup. The Paceman Adventure features a modified chassis with added ground clearance, turbocharged engine, and most notably, a small flatbed cargo area which can be used for transporting any sort of small cargo. MINI is no stranger to developing cars that stray from the original Austin Mini Cooper (re: The Countryman, Paceman, Clubman, etc.) but the Paceman Adventure certainly takes the cake for innovative design. Of course, with its distinctive front grille and diminutive stature, this vehicle is still all MINI.
For those wondering, the Paceman Adventure is more of a pet project, and will not see production. File this one as fun PR fodder.
