MINI Cooper owners in Northern Michigan will attempt a world-record-breaking parade of MINI vehicles next month, looking to top the previous Guinness World Record mark of 1,450 MINIs in one parade.
The MINIs will depart from Mackinaw City, Michigan where they will proceed to cross the 5-mile Mackinac Bridge into the city of St. Ignance. The Mackinac suspension bridge spans the Straits of Mackinac and connects Michigan’s upper and lower peninsulas. The parade is set for next month and should prove to be a great event for the town. To break the world record, the parade will need more than 1,450 MINIs - to put this in context Mackinaw City has a population of 806 people!
Stay tuned for more details and images as the event unfolds!
