Each week it seems like we’re reading a new story about a particular initiative or charity sponsored by some of the country’s regional MINI dealerships. It’s refreshing to see a company so invested in connecting with its local community. These following two stories occurred this week.
During the fall, Prestige MINI of Ramsey, NJ called upon intern Kristenelle Coronado – a senior at Ramapo College of New Jersey – to help them with a design project. The project found Coronado playing a lead role in the creation of a graphic design that would be featured on the exterior of a MINI Cooper – what a canvas! Coronado’s pink and green design promoted The Aubrey Hepburn Children’s House which is a division of the department of pediatrics at The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center and a state-designated regional diagnostic center for child abuse and neglect.
Following the project, the MINI Cooper was donated to the Hackensack University Medical Center for a charity raffle.

Being the only MINI dealership in the state of New Hampshire, MINI of Bedford recognizes the importance of using their resources to better their community. That is why MINI of Bedford has donated a new MINI Convertible to the “Cheers to Children” food and wine fundraiser on March 23, an event sponsored to raise money for the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire.
"The Children's Museum of New Hampshire does so much good for the community, and we are proud to give back by being a sponsor of this wonderful event," said Marshal Cabot, general manager of MINI of Bedford. "We're sure that whoever wins the Convertible will be thrilled, not only because they won a great car, but because they've also helped to support an important local organization."
The museum will hold a raffle on the MINI Convertible, selling 600 raffle tickets for $100 each.
