MINI will be debuting some new features for its next generation hardtop at this year’s LA Auto Show. Among those features are new Parking Control and Collision Warning features.
MINI has the market cornered on small, uniquely-designed, sport-infused vehicles, but it seems that the company is shifting at least a portion of their focus on safety features. The new technology, found in many existing vehicles, brings the Cooper up-to-speed on modern day safety features. MINI plans to deploy the use of small cameras to notify drivers of imminent collisions, helping drivers keep themselves and their beloved vehicles out of harm’s way. Rounding out the new features are a video-based adaptive cruise control and auto-dimming headlights.
