MINI has finished in first place in the J.D. Power and Associates’ 2011 Customer Service Index Study in the category of dealer service in the mass market segment.
This latest honor comes on the heels of an IIHS Top Safety Pick (MINI Countryman), an IntelliChoice Best Overall Value Award (Cooper Hatchback and Convertible), and the distinction of being named one of Ward’s “10 Best Engines” (for the Cooper S engine).
The Customer Service Index measures satisfaction with repair work, maintenance, and dealer service visits over the first 3 years of ownership. The Service Index is calculated using the following set of criteria (listed in order of importance): service quality, service initiation, service advisor, service facility, and vehicle pick-up. MINI edged out GMC by a margin of two points.
