Well, it seems we have a theme this week. First, we had a jet-powered MINI that looked like, well, a regular MINI, albeit with a somewhat large protrusion coming off the rear end. Now we have a MINI with the usual stocker four cylinder, only this one is dressed up like some sort of cartoon jet. Where does the madness end?
According to my research, the poor 2004 MINI was subjected to this treatment courtesy of Delta Airlines for use as a promotional vehicle. It is currently listed for sale on eBay, with 50,777 ground miles clocked and an opening bid of $20,000. From the looks of the photos, they may have more than one of these available.
Perhaps if you're thinking of starting your own airline, this could be a good investment.
