This beautiful, hand-painted restored classic Mini is proof that Mini has always stood for style and individualism in design.
The striped Mini popped up for sale recently from DBM garage, an Italian company specializing in the restoration of cars, Vespa scooters and motorcycles. The car is an Innocenti version from 1973 and has been restored to include a completely redone leather interior with custom colors.
Innocenti versions of the Classic Mini, built under license by the Innocenti factory in Italy, differed from their English counterparts. They came with additional accessories and a slightly higher level of finish, along with different designs for the grill, headlight and trunk. Brakes were boosted on all models, whereas the British versions only provided a brake booster on the Cooper S.
The DBM restoration is currently priced at $34,899 USD or 32,500 EUR. A full slideshow can be viewed here. The actual vehicle can be viewed by appointment at DBM in Genova, Italy.
