Two artists named Lukas and Ludschi collaborated on a creative piece of artwork that used the exterior of a MINI Countryman as a tribute to the Laax Mountain Resort in Switzerland, the home of the Burton European Open.
The car’s design, which took 42 hours to finish, takes inspiration from the mountain itself, as well as the local folklore which tells its own story about the mountainous region. An anonymous alpine legend complete with flowing beard appears on the bonnet, representing those who used the slops for recreation and virility. Mixed within the design are the unmistakable genetic pinnings of the MINI brand and its sporting heritage.
The two partners, known together as Lu&Lu share a passion of the region and for the alpine tradition, which they have masterfully recreated on the exterior of the MINI Countryman. A perfect vessel for a visual representation of the sporting culture of the iconic mountain range.
