This kit is perfect for hooking-up your iPod with your stock MINI sound system--and it's an improvement over the genuine ipod kit!

This kit features a logic box that interfaces with your audio system, allowing your radio to display tracks and use of steering wheel controls to select tracks, scan playlists and adjust tone and volume on your iPod. (This functionality available on September 2005 MINI Cooper S vehicles only.)

And, you can still use your iPod controls if you prefer and name playlists whatever you want (unlike the genuine kit). It even charges your iPod while you listen! The kit connects via the remote CD changer inputs found behind the right hand access panel in the boot of the vehicle. Basic installation is easy and straightforward and custom installation steps are included in the detailed instructions. (i.e. if you want to to conceal wires behind interior moldings.)
