Voila! MINI Cooper S Diesel To Debut In Paris Next Month!

It appears the rumors are true. MINI plans to launch an S version diesel at the Paris Motor Show next month and man is it powerful!

Diesel powered MINI?

The Mini Cooper S Diesel’s 1.6 liter engine is expected to output 143 hp and 221 ft. lbs. of torque. The Mini Cooper S Diesel, it’s said, will at some point also be made available on the Mini Countryman S. The CO2 emissions level of the Mini Cooper S Diesel is expected to fall in the 110 g/km category, which is certainly “American Air” friendly, but as you know, diesels are not welcome here, so you’ll have to buy yours over in Europe.

The new version of the popular model is expected to debut at the Paris Auto Show next month and will probably go on sale early in 2011.
