Carmakers are putting the past behind them and now are falling over themselves to get to the world’s largest market in China. That makes for some pretty weird competition…
MINI introduced the new MINI Cooper Countryman to the Beijing Auto Show crowd on Friday, April 23, 2010. Automakers everywhere are scrambling to get their newest offerings in front of China's fast-growing market and MINI is well positioned to take advantage of it. Nimble, loaded with personality, and now available as an SUV, MINI seems to have most of its bases covered. It will take care of the coupe/roadster base next year. And, if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, than MINI should be justly proud of this Lifan 320, which was also featured at the show.
Can’t fool us, though.
