Call her "Lucky Lisa" Duffy. She's the 21-year-old Liverpool native who won a shiny black MINI Cooper in a competition organized by win4now.co.uk, a Sheffield, England-based online prize site. More than 40,000 people entered to win the car, but it was "Lucky Lisa" who drove away with the prize. Actually, it is more accurate to say her uncle drove away with the prize. She brought him along because she can't drive.
"Now I have the perfect excuse to start taking driving lessons," said Lisa. "All I felt at first was disbelief, I entered the competition last year and forgot all about it until I received an email from Win4now. Most of my family were a bit dubious about it but my mum believed it more than me. I was overwhelmed when it sunk in."
The MINI is certainly good motivation to get cracking on your driver's test workbook.
