Not a headline you see every day. Beyond its totally illogical premise, the MINI monster truck hardly seems feasible. However, opposites do attract, and what may seem like a project that seeks to appeal to two diametrically opposed demographics may in fact be just what the right person is looking for. I mean after all, someone thought enough of the idea to build it, right?
The Monster MINI Cooper mounts the shell and interior of a 1965 Austin MINI Cooper on top of a Jeep Wrangler YJ frame with a 6-inch lift kit. Not ridiculous enough? The Monster MINI is powered by a 5.7 liter V8 crate motor. Additional features include 35-inch tires, four-wheel disc brakes, roof-mounted lighting and a front-mounted winch. The vehicle is finished in a military olive with black racing stripes. Finishing off the vehicle is a custom “Meep” badge on the rear - presumably an abbreviation for MINI Jeep.
This MINI monster truck can be yours for a mere $15,000, but the question is... do you want it?
