Back in September we featured an article on MINI’s “2 Million Faces” campaign which sought to celebrate the production of its 2 millionth vehicle by awarding a special edition MINI to a lucky MINI fan.
To participate, fans were required to upload their Facebook profile picture to the MINI 2 Million Faces Facebook Page, creating the MINI Wall of Fans. On December 21st 2011 the 2 Millionth MINI rolled off the production line in Oxford and into the hands of Cees Plug of the Netherlands, the lucky winner of the 2 Million Faces campaign. Plug, 27, was at work when he got the news and, “still can’t believe that [he] won!”
Mr. Plug’s MINI finally arrived to his home in the Netherlands on February 15th where MINI cameras were present to capture the special moment.
