MINI’s public relations team always seems to manage remarkable feats in public branding, marketing and product placement. Their latest accomplishment found MINI as proud sponsors of the country’s biggest award ceremony, The Grammys.
Readers of this blog probably remember our story on MINI’s participation at the London Olympics, where MINI Coopers and their smaller, remote-controlled siblings provided a helping hand to the track and field athletes on hand. In their latest promotional venture, MINI volunteered their vehicles for a special taxi service for a variety of talented Grammy winners. The MINI’s brought artists from the Staples Center (the site of the awards ceremony) to the Chateau Marmont for an evening of celebration at the high-end after party venue.
MINI even had a convertible on display, and encouraged party-goers to autograph the vehicle’s canvas bonnet as a sort of high-end celebrity guestbook.
MINI will never cease to amaze.
