The 2011 MINI Countryman has recently been awarded Top Safety Pick honors from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
MINI’s larger, four-door Countryman comes equipped with front, side and curtain airbags as well as anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control and an All4 four-wheel drive option. The Countryman registered a best-possible “good” score in each of the IIHS testing criteria, including frontal offset, side impact, roof strength and seat-based rear-impact tests.
The MINI Countryman outperformed its sibling MINI Cooper in side impact and roof strength tests.
