A 2001 Mini Cooper has just been sold at auction in the UK for over 20,000 UK Pounds. The pristine Rover Mini only had 204 miles on it.
Yes, that is correct, only 204 miles since 2001. With that kind of low mileage, the car could just about almost be sold as a new vehicle. But that's not all. The original owner kept it in his study in order to protect it from road conditions and to keep it from accumulating mileage. It is one of the last classic Mini's built.
The sale, of £20,160 took place at the Charterhouse classic car auction, in Somerset, UK, on Wednesday September 16. The vehicle, which was trailered to the auction, was also sold earlier this year at a different auction for £16,854.
This is surely one of the lowest mileage classic Mini Coopers in existence today.
