According to Brian, the article has garnered quite a bit of attention for his business, and he is planning to post more similar articles in the future. So keep their site bookmarked and be on the lookout for more helpful information. Knowing some of this stuff beforehand could save you more expensive repairs down the road or possible help you avoid purchasing a potentially troublesome vehicle.

For example, Brian claims that MINI service literature calls for 15,000-mile intervals on some oil changes, but that his customers sometimes find that their vehicles have suffered the effects of low or degraded oil by the time 15,000 miles have passed.

British American Auto Care is a family-run business that service all makes and models of cars, but has recently decided to concentrate on their English roots and focus on the MINI and other British marques. They've even purchased specialized equipment for testing and diagnosing problems with MINI Cooper vehicles. While we haven’t tried them personally, we appreciate their dedication to the marque.
